2010 – 2011             Guest Speaker: I was asked by a number of graduate and undergraduate professors at MICA to give demos and presentations on animation, web design, SEO, and video editing to their undergraduate and graduate level students.

2007-2009           Freelance Multimedia Artist: I was contracted out as a freelance multimedia artist to create 3 educational videos for the Old Masters In Context Series at the Chrysler Museum of Art. My duties were to take the concept from storyboard to completion for display in the museum as part of an educational initiative. I worked closely with the Director of Education and Public Programs to insure the highest quality demanded by the client.

2006             Adjunct Animation Professor: Developed and implemented a short summer intensive course in the basics of 2D and experimental stop motion animation. Worked closely with 12 entering freshmen to create animation experiences in varying principles including: hand-drawn, cut paper, under the camera, sand, paint on glass, etc. A brief history of experimental animation was given as well as demos, lectures, sample artists, and in class work time.

    About

    Erin Zerbe is a multimedia artist working in video, photography, performance, and new media. Her work specializes in human interactions and relationships with the body. Currently she is teaching at Virginia Commonwealth University in the Art Foundations and Kinetic Imaging Departments. In her free time, Erin works as a professional plus-size model and make up artist.
