i hate spiders is a super short roto-scoped animation that playfully recants a story from my childhood. This piece uses playful music, and childlike drawings to further connect the viewer with the childlike silliness of the story and the fear itself. Full of wit and charm, this piece has been exhibited in the Open APPerture Short Film Festival, where it won in the category of Super Short Film. It was shown in the Scene First Student Film Festival, where it won Best Short Animated Film, and it was screened internationally in the People’s Choice Independent Film Festival in Ecuador.
